Zie Die Cast 95

Zie Die Cast 95 is a water-miscible die-lube concentrate for die-casting of aluminum & magnesium alloys. Zie Die Cast 95 BS generates highly effective separating films on the dies. The wetting properties are very good also in case of high die temperatures. Zie Die Cast 95 BS produces castings with clean and bright surfaces. There is no build – up or formation of deposits on the die cavities. Zie Die Cast 95 BS does not contain mineral oil or any harmful materials. It does not produce hazardous or irritating fumes. Zie Die Cast 95 BS has an extraordinarily good resistance against bacterial and fungal infestation. This is especially advantageous when the product is used in a centralized system. Clogging of tubes, sieves or nozzles by lumps of fungi will be avoided. The Biostable properties result from a combination of special ingredients. Zie Die Cast 95 contains only a small quantity of waxes. Thereby the residues on overspray areas remain soft and are easily to remove. Zie Die Cast 95 does not cause problems when painting or galvanizing the castings. An assumption for this is an appropriate pre-treatment of the parts.

Recommendation

Depending on the castings, the alloys and the spraying parameters diluting rations of 1 : 100 up to 1 : 150 are recommended for Zie Die Cast 95. Zie Die Cast 95 is applied with standard spray equipment for water-miscible die-face lubricants, either manually or automatically.
